Edna Kimanga, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Clinic Director | The Colony

Edna is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the State of Texas to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex healthcare problems. She began her career after high school working as a certified nurse assistant. Since that she has accumulated nearly 20 years of nursing experience and education in various areas of patient care. She originally received Bachelor of Science Degree in University of Texas at Arlington, in 2003. While working at Baylor Medical Center at Frisco, she acquired her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.

Edna has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best healthcare possible. She understands each patient is unique and believes in building a long-lasting trusting relationship. Her objective is to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs. When patients take an active role they tend to adhere to a plan of care and will achieve the positive outcomes they desire. Edna's desire is to enhance a positive healing experience and confidence to those in need.

Jesse Collier MPA, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

We are excited to announce Jesse as Frisco's new clinic director.

Jesse has been a dedicated float provider for Men's T clinic, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the new position serving our Frisco patients as Frisco's clinic director.

Steven Shelton, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Clinic Director | N. Frisco, TX

Steven Shelton is a Nurse Practitioner who has been in the medical profession for 28 years. He received his education in the Texas Panhandle and North Texas. He has worked in the emergency, intensive care, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, bariatric, and hormone management settings.

Steven received his Master's Degree specializing as an Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has practicing privileges to care for patients nationally. These experiences have led him to specialize in hormone replacement, where he has been directing his patient care efforts the last several years.

Steven enjoys the outdoors when he isn't studying medicine. He is an avid mountain biker, and even donates some of his free time to maintenance of local trails, with the Dallas Off Road Bicycle Association. Steven's passion for mountain biking led him to build his own mountain bike from scratch, which you will find him riding on the weekends on local trails.

Gary Watkins, PA-C

Clinic Director | Grapevine, TX

PA Gary Watkins graduated from the U.S. Navy Physician Assistant program earning a Bachelor of Science degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 1993 and was Commissioned as a United States Naval Officer. He later earned a Master's degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, specializing in Family Practice Medicine in 1999. Gary served in the U.S. Navy from 1981 ‐ 2001 where he worked as a Hospital Corpsman, a Laboratory Technician and later as a Physician Assistant. During his time in the Navy, Gary served in two overseas assignments, the U.S. Naval Hospital Subic Bay Philippines in 1982 and at the U.S. Naval Hospital Guam in 1994. Gary also served at the Office of the Attending Physician to Congress - at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. 1991-1993, serving the medical needs of members of Congress to include - U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senators and U.S. Supreme Court Justices. During his tour of duty at the U.S. Capitol, Gary also served as medical staff during special sessions of Congress, State of the Union addresses and Presidential inauguration ceremonies.

Gary later retired from the U.S. Navy in 2001 at the Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth after serving a total of 20 years of active duty service. During his 20 years of service, he earned two Navy Commendation Medals and two Navy Achievement Medals. After retirement from the Navy, Gary worked in Urgent Care / Family Practice Medicine for approximately 13 years before he began working in Men's Health and Wellness in 2014. Gary is happily married to his wife Emily now over 36 years and together they have three boys, Andrew, Kyle, and Chad. Gary enjoys running and recently finished two Cowtown Marathons and loves to promote a healthy lifestyle for all of his aging male patients.
